Neural control of eye movements the Munoz lab uses the eye movement system to investigate brain function and dysfunction. Studies are designed to investigate the neural circuitry controlling saccadic eye movements in sensory-motor and cognitive tasks, including cerebral cortex, basal ganglia, and brainstem. Techniques include behavioural neuro- physiology, assessment of neurological and psychiatric patient groups, as well as brain imaging.
